Martin Souček: About Ultradistance Cycling with Charitable Overlap

Martin Souček is an amateur cyclist who decided to combine his love for cycling with charity. Together with his friends, he founded the "Kolo pro Adama" challenge, which has been helping disabled children get special bikes for several years. The challenge is open to fans of various sports, not just cyclists, and amateurs as well as pros can join. The event takes place every year in July and everyone is welcome to get involved.

In addition to charity, Martin has also found a passion for ultra cycling. He only started cycling sportively 5 years ago, but he has already competed in several amateur ultra races and hasn't let up. For 2024, Martin has set himself a properly obsessive challenge - to cross an entire continent in 12 days. Find out what the challenge is, why Martin chose it and how he's preparing in the next episode of the Life in the Saddle podcast.
